The "231" Model

As part of the internal control and risk management system, the Board of Directors of Sasol Italy SpA has adopted its own organization, management and control model pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 ("Model 231"), in order to prevent the risk of committing certain crimes or administrative offenses committed in the interest or for the benefit of entities.

Model 231 is periodically updated in order to adapt it to any changes inherent to the internal organization and the activities carried out, or concerning the predicate offenses referred to in the legislative decree, as well as with the aim of making them clearer and more effective in the event of significant violations or circumvention of the provisions contained therein.

For Sasol Italy the adoption of ethical principles relevant for the prevention of crimes pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 is an integral part of the internal control system.
